Use Of Car Indicators Is A Problem In Ghana.....

How many times have you been driving when, suddenly, the car before you negotiates a turn without signalling or, abruptly turns the indicator on when they are half an inch away from their turning point? Is it that these culprits are thoughtless? Or are just just selfish?

Yesterday I followed a  woman who just stopped in the middle of the road in front of me without warning. Eventually, she turned right into a parking spot in front of a store. No signal used. Then, another taxi driver just stopped for a passenger without warning.

What the hell is wrong with these people?

  1. Taxi drivers, bus drivers, I'm not surprised. Those guys stop on impulse especially where there's a potential passenger. Private cars di3 hmmmmmmmm...

  2. It seems there is a rule about not indicating that we all missed. i keep a good distance from any vehicle infront of me when driving. It has helped in a lot of situations. Oh, and don't forget the cyclists; it there a ban on cyclists indicating their signal lights (ie motorcyclists)

  3. Gh. drivers and traffic law adherence. Making expert 'aponkye brakers' since 1777

  4. .. assuming the indicators on most of those cars work.

    LoL @ Etoile Oye's comment

  5. I have stories about driving in Accra that would make your toes curl. It's about time the popo dealt with these people.

I spoke my mind... Now it's your turn..
